HPCSA Platform Maintenace

We are pleased to announce that wave 2 of the Oracle Service Cloud Enhancement project will be launched on 11 February 2025, following the successful completion of wave 1.

Although the project was temporarily put on hold due to unforeseen circumstances, it resumed on 11 October 2024. The goal is to ensure the portal is fully optimised and functional by the end of the project. The enhancement project will be implemented in three phases, focusing on digitising functions that were previously handled manually.

Wave 2 focuses on enhancing the following registration processes:

Locally Qualified

  • Community Service from Internship
  • Independent Practice from Community Service
  • Independent Practice from Internship
  • Agent Desktop – Specialist +Certificate
  • Agent Desktop – Additional Qualification + Certificate
  • Agent Desktop – Additional Category + Certificate
  • Certificate Generation Processes

The enhanced online platform is aimed at making the HPCSA a more effective and efficient regulator by digitising most of its services. This includes automated e-mail notifications informing practitioners of the approval or rejection of their registration applications. Additionally, once payments are confirmed on the portal, the registration process will automatically be completed, allowing a registration letter, number, and certificate to be generated within minutes.

Wave 3A, following wave 2, will focus on further enhancing the Registrations processes. The portal is designed to offer streamlined functionality through a comprehensive approach.

In preparation for the launch of wave 2, please be aware of the systems that will be unavailable, along with the affected dates and times listed below. We apologise in advance for the anticipated disruptions:
