The HPCSA invited nominations for the Health Awards 2019 in the categories of Presidential Health Merit Awards and the Lifetime Achievement Award.
As a statutory body, the HPCSA is committed to protecting the public and guiding the professions. The HPCSA Heath Awards is a new initiative aimed at promoting the tireless work of healthcare professionals who excel in providing excellent standards of ethical and professional practice to the benefit of the South African population.
Nominations for HPCSA Health Awards closed on 15 July 2019.
Winners will be recognized at the HPCSA Conference Gala Dinner to be held on 19 August 2019 at Emperors Palace.
HPCSA Presidential Health Merit Awards (HPHMA):
These awards aim to acknowledge the outstanding performance of individual practitioners in the various Professional Boards. Twelve winners will be selected; one from each Professional Board.

Lifetime Achievement Award:
The Professional Boards are requested to nominate individuals who have made a difference through their contributions to the advancement of the HPCSA’s mandate and the healthcare industry.
