The Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) reminds all registered practitioners to continue meeting their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements in line with their ethical and professional responsibilities.
Practitioners shall ensure ongoing participation in CPD activities and regularly review their compliance status on the online portal to confirm that their records are accurate and up to date.
Please note that although CPD compliance remains practitioner’s critical component to maintain registration, this year it will not be a mandatory requirement when renewing annual registration. Further information regarding this matter will be communicated in due course. However, practitioners are still required to maintaining their CPD compliance to ensure continuation of registration.
