HPCSA Council Stakeholder Engagement in Limpopo

The HPCSA Council is the governing body of the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), the statutory body that regulates specific healthcare professions in South Africa.

The new HPCSA Council was inaugurated and constituted for the 2025–2030 term, on 12 December 2025.

One of Council’s key priorities is meaningful stakeholder engagement, the first taking place in Limpopo, on 6 October 2026. The engagement will provide an opportunity for practitioners and other stakeholders to meet the new Council, share their experiences, raise issues and engage directly with Council members.

It represents an important opportunity for two-way engagement — creating space for practitioners to be heard while also helping Council to better understand the experiences and concerns of the professions it regulates. For a new Council beginning its five-year term, taking the conversation directly to stakeholders is an important first step in building that relationship.

The engagement will be accredited, with CEUs to be confirmed.
