HPCSA calls on Radiologists and Radiographers to assist with a study to determine the feasibility of role extension for Radiographers relating to the injection of iodinated contrast media.
The survey, which is an expansion of the survey that was conducted by the Society of Radiographers in 2012, aims to gather more information from a wider population of Radiologists and Radiographers on their views to take up additional roles and responsibilities. It will furthermore enable the Board to gather information needed to guide role extension processes and determine the number and location of Radiographers who are willing to take up additional responsibilities.
