In view of the current COVID-19 pandemic and the state of national disaster as announced by the President in terms of the Disaster Management Act, 2002, the HPCSA acknowledges that this has affected some practitioners’ ability to pay their annual fees. This situation has also affected the Provincial Departments in effecting the personal deduction and payment annual fees on behalf of state-employed practitioners in terms of Resolution 2 of 2018 in the Public Health and Social Development Sectoral Bargaining Council.
To this end; the HPCSA informs all practitioners that the due date for annual renewals and payment of registrations has been extended to 30 September 2020. Practitioners should ensure that their annual fees are paid by the 30 September 2020. Practitioners are once again encouraged to utilise the online portal for the renewal of their registration, where they will also access their annual practising certificate.
NB: All annual practising certificates which expired on 31 March 2020 are now valid until 30 September 2020.
Practitioners may also access their profile using the HPCSA mobile app that is available on this link: https://hpcsamobileapp.co.za/
