In a bid to curb the increasing demands of registering practitioners and processing the annual renewal fees, the HPCSA embarked on a nationwide off-site renewals campaign. This initiative is aimed to combat the long queues that are often experienced each year at the HPCSA offices in Pretoria.
The effectivity of the HPCSA to service its members has been hampered by Post Office strikes and as a result, practitioners’ practicing cards have either been lost in the post or the cards have arrived extremely late.
To overcome this challenge HPCSA has been issuing practicing cards fully paid-up practitioners at the off-site renewals. The HPCSA is proud to announce that 124 009 practitioners had paid their annual renewal fees by 14 April 2015. Thie HPCSA was able to collect R112 263 135. 18.
