The Health Professions Council of South Africa is pleased to inform you of the Minister of Health’s decision, Dr Joe Phaahla, to appoint Ms Melissa De Graaff as the Acting Registrar/CEO.
Ms De Graaff‘s appointment is with immediate effect from Wednesday, 1 September 2021.
Ms De Graaff is the current Chief Financial Officer of the HPCSA and has occupied this position since 2016. Subsequent to the above developments, an acting Chief Financial Officer will be appointed shortly to segregate the office of the CEO and CFO.
Council will give Ms De Graaff all the necessary support to enable her to fulfil her duties as the Acting Registrar/CEO.
We wish Ms De Graaff all the best in her new role.
