HPCSA National Conference 2019

The Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) will hold the first-ever HPCSA National Conference from 18 – 20 August 2019 at the Emperor’s Palace, in Ekhurhuleni, Gauteng.

The Conference will provide an opportunity for delegates across all health sectors, health regulators, policy makers, academics and service providers amongst others; to engage on regulatory matters pertaining to the healthcare environment; including the shifting global and local healthcare trends.

We will be engaging on the outcomes of the Health Market Inquiry and the Presidential Health Summit 2018 as well as creating awareness with our stakeholders on our mandate. The aim is also to receive valuable inputs on the future role of Council, which will be used to rebrand HPCSA as one of the leading regulators within the health regulatory environment in the country and abroad.

For the international delegates and from the social feature, the Conference will create an opportunity to experience the beauty of our country, which is located at the southernmost part of the African continent and renowned for its varied topography, great natural beauty and cultural diversity.
