Importance of paying annual fees

Practitioners are reminded to pay their annual fees for the 2015 registration period. The deadline for the annual fee was 1 April 2015. However, the payment period has been extended to 31 August 2015. Failure to pay by the due date will result in immediate suspension from the register.

Annual fees are determined by the amount needed to cover all financial obligations of the professional board, including the board’s contribution to the running of the HPCSA. When budgeting, the professional boards always negotiate the lowest possible fees and provide alternative strategies to prevent huge increases.

Due to the risks involved with cash, HPCSA does not accept cash on its premises.
